Two days, incredible cars, beautiful BC roads, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of driving fun!
On July 18–19, 2026, CG Motorsports brought together an amazing group of automotive enthusiasts for our CG Motorsports x Area 27 Driving Experience.
From a scenic rally through British Columbia to a full day at Area 27 Motorsports Park in Oliver, the weekend was filled with great company, memorable moments, and the shared passion that brings our automotive community together.
And judging by all the smiles at the end of the weekend, we’d say it was a huge success!
Day 1: Let the Adventure Begin!
The excitement started bright and early on Saturday morning at CG Motorsports in Richmond.
Drivers and guests arrived for breakfast, coffee, and a chance to catch up with fellow enthusiasts before hitting the road. With everyone getting their event decals and racing numbers onto their cars, the parking lot quickly transformed into an impressive lineup of performance machines.
Of course, there was plenty of time to take photos, admire each other’s cars, and talk about what everyone was most looking forward to.
Once everyone was ready, it was time to hit the road!
A Scenic Rally Through BC
Our convoy headed east through the Fraser Valley and along Highway 3, taking in some of British Columbia’s most beautiful mountain scenery.
The drive wasn’t about racing to the destination. It was about enjoying the journey, the cars, and the company along the way.
And we made sure to capture it all!
Throughout the route, drivers had opportunities to line up their vehicles for our photographer and videographer to capture some fantastic driving shots. There’s something pretty special about seeing a lineup of beautiful performance cars winding through BC’s mountain highways.
Lunch at Manning Park
Our first major stop was Manning Park, where everyone enjoyed a relaxed group lunch and a chance to stretch their legs.
It was the perfect opportunity to share stories from the morning drive, check out the cars, and get to know a few more faces.
After lunch, it was back on the road, with more spectacular scenery and photo opportunities as we continued through Princeton toward Osoyoos.
A Great Evening in Osoyoos
By late afternoon, the group arrived in Osoyoos, ready to unwind after a full day on the road.
That evening, everyone came together for dinner, good food, plenty of laughs, and conversations about cars, driving, and everything in between.
For some, the fun didn’t stop after dinner! A few participants kept the evening going with an after-dinner gathering before calling it a night.
It was a great way to wrap up Day 1 and get ready for the main event.
Day 2: Time to Hit the Track at Area 27!
Sunday morning came with a whole new level of excitement.
After breakfast and check-in at Area 27 Motorsports Park, drivers attended their safety briefing and got ready for a full day of track activities.
For some participants, this was their first experience driving on a professional circuit. For others, it was another opportunity to enjoy what their performance cars were built to do.
With organized driving groups, professional instructors, and a structured schedule, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy the experience at their own comfort and skill level.
Putting the Cars Through Their Paces
The day was packed with driving, from guided sessions to open lapping for qualified drivers.
Watching everyone gain confidence throughout the day was one of the best parts of the event.
Whether it was learning the racing line, improving braking points, or simply enjoying the feeling of driving on a proper circuit, there were smiles everywhere.
And then came one of the weekend’s biggest highlights…
The Autocross Challenge!
The autocross was an absolute blast!
Drivers had the chance to put their cars and handling skills to the test on a technical course, pushing through the corners and enjoying a little friendly competition.
There was plenty of excitement, some impressive driving, and lots of cheering from the sidelines.
It didn’t matter whether someone was chasing the fastest time or just out there having fun. Everyone got into the spirit of the challenge.
And yes, there were plenty of people enjoying the chance to really put their cars through their paces!
Great Cars, Great People, Great Memories
Between track sessions, everyone had time to relax, enjoy lunch, catch up with other drivers, and watch the action.
Our photographers and videographers were also busy capturing the experience, from track action to candid moments around the paddock.
By the end of the day, the cars had certainly been put to work, but the smiles said it all.
What an incredible weekend!
More Than Just a Track Day
What made this event special wasn’t just the destination or the cars. It was the people.
Seeing our customers, friends, and fellow enthusiasts come together to share something they love is exactly why we wanted to put this event together.
From the conversations over breakfast in Richmond to the scenic drive, dinner in Osoyoos, and all the fun at Area 27, the entire weekend reminded us what an amazing automotive community we have here in BC.
At CG Motorsports, we’re passionate about BMW performance, but we’re equally passionate about the people behind the wheel.
